Cucumber Jalapeño Rumrita

A perfectly balanced infusion of cool cucumber and fiery jalapeño!

INGREDIENTS

Infusion

750ml Siesta Key Silver Rum

2 Cucumbers, peeled and sliced

1 Jalapeño, sliced and seeded

*This amount of infused rum will make approximately 10 drinks.


Per Drink

2½ oz Cucumber Jalapeño Infused Siesta Key Rum

1 oz Simple Syrup

1 oz Lime Juice

Cucumber slice

PREPARATION

Infusion

In a glass container, add the cucumbers and the 750ml bottle of Siesta Key Silver Rum. Seal container and store in a cool, dark location for 3 days. Add the sliced jalapeño and allow to sit for another 12-36 hours, depending on desired level of heat. Strain out the cucumber and jalapeño.


Per Drink

Mix cucumber jalapeño infused rum with 1 oz simple syrup and 1 oz lime juice. *For best results: once mixed, let it sit overnight for the flavors to blend.


When ready to serve, pour mixture into a shaker filled with ice. Shake until nice and cold and pour into a glass. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
